The Sattva Collective CIC
You don’t have to carry midlife and menopause on your own.

You don’t have to carry midlife alone. And you don’t have to explain yourself to be understood here.

So many South Asian women move through midlife in silence.

We look after children, partners, parents, in-laws, and communities. We manage households, careers, and expectations that were never really negotiated; they were simply inherited. And somewhere along the way, quietly, without anyone noticing, our own needs slip to the very bottom of the list.

The Sattva Collective exists to change that.

Not with a programme to follow or a checklist to complete. But with something simpler and more sustaining: the company of other women who understand. Women who share your cultural landscape, your season of life, and the particular complexity of navigating both at once.

Here is where you can step in.

THE SATTVA WOMEN’S CIRCLE: OUR MONTHLY GATHERING

Once a month, we meet.

In a warm, accessible venue, over tea, in a room that doesn’t rush you, South Asian women in midlife come together for a few hours that are entirely, unapologetically theirs.

No performance required. No need to arrive with your thoughts organised or your feelings resolved. You can come tired. You can come uncertain. You can come simply because you needed to be somewhere that felt safe, and this is it.

The Sattva Women’s Circle is a space to:

  • exhale, and arrive exactly as you are
  • speak openly, or simply listen, if that’s what you need
  • hear other women’s stories and feel the particular relief of recognising yourself in them
  • ask the questions you haven’t been able to ask anywhere else

Conversations move where the community takes them: hormones, identity, relationships, grief, faith, career, and what comes next. What stays constant is the tone. Honest. Warm. Held with care.

Women arrive carrying the weight of the world. Most leave a little lighter.

MY SATTVA STORY: YOUR VOICE. YOUR TRUTH. YOUR MIDLIFE.

Every South Asian woman in midlife has a story. Most have never been asked to share it.

My Sattva Story is our year-round storytelling campaign: a space where South Asian women share their midlife and menopause experiences in their own words, unfiltered, unperfected, and free from the silence that has been passed down for too long.

Because your story is the one that reaches the woman who doesn’t yet know she isn’t alone.

Read the stories, and share your own

THRIVE THROUGH MIDLIFE & MENOPAUSE: OUR ANNUAL SUMMIT

Once a year, we gather on a larger scale.

Thrive Through Midlife & Menopause is The Sattva Collective’s flagship annual summit, a full day dedicated entirely to South Asian women’s experiences of midlife and menopause. The first takes place in March 2027 at The Centenary Hall, Bedford.

This is not a generic wellness event. Every speaker, every session, every conversation has been chosen with one question in mind: what does this mean for South Asian women, specifically?

On the day, you can expect:

  • expert talks from doctors, therapists, and practitioners who understand the cultural gaps in women’s healthcare
  • real, unfiltered stories from South Asian women navigating midlife with honesty and courage
  • sessions covering health, identity, faith, relationships, finances, and the quiet reinvention that midlife invites
  • space to connect with other women who are done going through it quietly

This summit is a statement as much as it is an event. South Asian women deserve clear information, culturally grounded care, and spaces built entirely with them in mind. This is that space.

THE SUBSTACK: WHERE THE COMMUNITY CONTINUES

Not everyone is ready for an in-person room. And not everyone lives close enough to come.

The Sattva Collective Substack is where community continues in writing, a monthly space for honest reflection, cultural essays, health resources, and voices from South Asian women who are choosing to speak rather than stay silent.

It is quieter than a gathering. More personal than a blog. A letter, really, arriving in your inbox when you need it, at a pace that feels manageable.

Over the past year, we have published reflections on everything from navigating menopause during Ramadan to reclaiming financial independence in midlife to what it means to live alone and live fully. Pieces that mainstream platforms don’t write, because they aren’t writing for you.

This one is.

THE WHATSAPP COMMUNITY

Sometimes you don’t need an event or a newsletter. You just need to know there are other women around.

Our WhatsApp community is where the conversation happens between gatherings, updates, resources, gentle check-ins, and the quiet companionship of a group of women who understand what this season actually feels like.
