The Sattva Collective CIC
Help us break the silence and build something better for South Asian women in midlife.

The silence around midlife and menopause in South Asian communities has gone on long enough. Here is how you can help change that.

The Sattva Collective CIC is a community-led, not-for-profit organisation. Everything we have built in our first year, the content, the gatherings, the interviews, the awareness campaigns, the directory, the summit in development, has been driven by commitment, not by a large budget or a big team.

We are growing. And to grow with the intention and integrity this community deserves, we need people who believe in the work to stand alongside it.

Whether you are a woman who has been touched by what we do, a professional who wants to contribute your skills, an organisation looking to partner with us, or someone who simply wants to make sure South Asian women are no longer an afterthought in conversations about midlife, there is a place for you here.

DONATE: FUEL THE WORK

Every contribution, at any level, directly supports and expands The Sattva Collective’s work for South Asian women.

Your donation helps us:

  • Host Sattva Women’s Circle gatherings in warm, accessible, welcoming spaces
  • Produce culturally grounded content that reaches women who have never seen their experience reflected back to them
  • Run awareness campaigns throughout the year, for Menopause Awareness Month, mental health, cancer awareness, and more, always through a South Asian lens.
  • Develop and deliver the Thrive Through Midlife & Menopause Summit in March 2027
  • Keep our resources, directory, and community spaces free and accessible to the women who need them most

In our first year, we have reached South Asian women across the UK and internationally. Donations make it possible to do more of that, more consistently, with more depth.

VOLUNTEER: OFFER YOUR SKILLS

The Sattva Collective is built on the generosity of people who believe in what we are doing and want to give something real to it.

If you have skills in any of the following areas, we would genuinely love to hear from you:

  • Writing and editing: contributing articles, personal essays, or cultural reflections to the blog
  • Design and creative: supporting visual content, social media, and event materials
  • Events and logistics: helping with the planning and running of our gatherings and summit
  • Outreach and community building: helping us reach South Asian women in communities we haven’t yet found
  • Research and funding: supporting grant applications and impact reporting
  • Healthcare and wellness: contributing expert knowledge or practitioner insights to our content and directory

You don’t need to give unlimited time. Consistent, focused contribution, even a few hours a month, makes a genuine difference to a small, community-led organisation.

SHARE: AMPLIFY THE CONVERSATIONS

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do costs nothing except a moment of your attention.

Share an article with a friend who is quietly struggling and doesn’t yet have the words. Send a link to the Substack to the women in your family WhatsApp group. Mention The Sattva Collective to the GP surgery, the community centre, the faith group, and the workplace network that serves South Asian women.

Every time you share, you are potentially reaching a woman who has been sitting in silence, who didn’t know this space existed and needed to find it.

That matters more than we can easily measure.

PARTNER WITH US: COLLABORATE WITH INTENTION

We welcome collaboration with organisations and individuals whose values genuinely align with our mission.

We have worked with, and are open to working with:

  • healthcare providers, GP surgeries, and clinics
  • community and faith organisations
  • charities and voluntary sector bodies
  • workplaces and employee resource groups
  • universities and research institutions
  • brands and businesses with an authentic commitment to South Asian women’s health and wellbeing

Together, we can co-create events, bring culturally grounded menopause conversations into your organisation or community, contribute to research, or develop resources that reach women who are currently underserved.

We are also actively seeking sponsors and funders for our programmes and the Thrive Through Midlife & Menopause Summit in March 2027. If you are an organisation that wants to put your name behind something that genuinely matters to a significantly underserved community, this is a conversation worth having.

PRESS & MEDIA: AMPLIFY WITH YOUR PLATFORM

In our first year, The Sattva Collective has been featured in Eastern Eye, Asian Image, DESIblitz, Asian Voice, London Daily Digital, Legacy Woman Magazine, FORCE Magazine, and South Asian Heritage Trust. We have appeared on the radio and in cultural spaces that rarely make room for this conversation.

We are available for:

  • interviews, features, and panel discussions
  • expert comment on South Asian women’s experiences of menopause, midlife, and mental health
  • insight into the cultural barriers that prevent South Asian women from seeking support, and what needs to change
  • collaboration on documentaries, podcasts, and campaigns aligned with our mission
