It started with a cup of chai.
This morning, sipping ginger and cardamom in the quiet before the day began, an idea that had been circling for months finally landed. And I decided: simply do it.
In this first episode, I share the story behind The Sattva Collective, the idea that came to me on a bus to Cambridge, my mother’s undiagnosed perimenopause and the silence she carried alone, and why I built an organisation to make sure South Asian women never have to navigate midlife that way again.
I talk about what we have built in our first year, the articles, the community gatherings, the media coverage, Sattva Day, My Sattva Story, and the Thrive through Midlife & Menopause Summit coming in May 2027. I talk about my daughter Khushi, who chose to become Co-Director and what that means to me. And I share what this podcast is, how it will work, and what I need from you.
This is The Sattva Collective Podcast. Honest, unhurried, and built for South Asian women who are done going through midlife quietly.
